Since I was a child I spend few days or weeks of summer in the Mediterranean, in the beautiful Costa Brava.
Who doesn’t hold childhood memories toes deep into the sand? And let’s not forget daily ice-creams (read Almond Magnum), long days and nights and sunkissed skin (or sunpecked for a fair skinned like me). But when I think of summer in my beloved Mediterranean I also picture it fashion wise: overflown esparto baskets, white flowy dresses, gladiator sandals, panama hats and an endless quantity of threaded bracelets. I would spent afternoons creating new coloured bracelets to add to my collection. I was specially productive during that specific summer when I was terrified of the sea (and the unimaginable creatures that it held). Luckily, I did overcame that fear but I now have reached a point of no-return: I can’t take my mind off another summer by the sea.
Here I want to share my very special memory of what a summer in the Mediterranean looks like. Love, sun and breeze.
